The primary challenge was logistical. Located two hours from our central office, maintaining a consistent, uninterrupted supply of materials and a reliable, highly skilled labour force over an extended period presented significant operational hurdles. The massive scale of the project also required tight programming and constant coordination to perfectly align with the builder’s construction schedule and deadlines.
To overcome the geographical and logistical barriers, Danlaid prioritised constant, proactive communication with the builder. We engaged in mandatory weekly site meetings to ensure our programming and material deliveries were perfectly synchronised with site progress. This rigorous coordination and forward planning allowed us to maintain a steady workforce and material pipeline on site, effectively mitigating the logistical gap.
We successfully supplied and installed over 12,000 square metres of epoxy and industrial floor coatings, alongside 3,000 square metres of comprehensive waterproofing. The handover was executed seamlessly with very few defects. All stakeholders were extremely satisfied with the finishes, cementing our reputation for reliable delivery on major regional projects.
